Turning off the lights.

After making a rather huge effort over the last several months to write every day or to at least have content appear on the blog every day I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that I may be just shutting down the blog altogether.

In one way, it’s something that is somewhat sad but maybe a positive thing will come out of it in the sense I will start finishing all the stories and unfinished ideas that I’ve had running around in the cobwebs of my head over the last few decades.

Story ideas are easy, finishing is hard.

Anyway, I found that I got doxxed recently and because of it I’m figuring on whether or not to shut down the blog. I could make it private which would achieve the same result though too.

I have a very small online footprint and that’s really by choice. I’m a very private person but I’m also concerned in the sense that we live in a society today where people are paying a higher and higher price for voicing their opinions especially they don’t fall into lockstep with the propaganda that is currently in fashion.

It’s repressive.

Maybe though it’s just another indication of how the world continues to change and perhaps that’s one of the pratfalls of growing older is that we look back on the world with nostalgia and find change ever more harder to accept as we age.

Still, the doxxing thing was really screwed to say the least not the smallest thing of which is that it contained personal information I don’t think anyone would be happy about having out in the world. Hence the blog after almost two decades may have to go dark.
